Restaurant Pau

In most towns the best way to ensure a good meal is a recommendation, and Pau is no different. Finding your way around the restaurants in Pau can be a little like finding you way out of a maze (Easy when you know how, but on first presentation there seem to be too many choices).

Whether you are visiting Pau for a couple of days or planning a longer stay there is nothing worse than wasting an evening in the wrong place.

There are a mass of streets nestled under the guard of the Chateaux, and this is a great place to find a perfect combination of atmosphere combined with exquisite food. Equally there are places along the Boulevard de Pyrenees which offer views of the Pyrenees while you eat. However, there is much more. Moving north through Pau, down to the Hedas or west to Lescar you will find many more and varied cafés and restaurants, some rarely found by the tourists.
